Brownfield PA 143 Tax Credit — Up to a ten percent credit on the Single Business Tax for eligible redevelopment investments on Brownfield properties.

Energy Efficiency Grants — Funds for the implementation of energy efficiency projects using photovoltaics and other technologies available to businesses and public agencies from the Michigan Public Service Commission.

High-Tech MEGA Tax Credit — Negotiated credit against the Single Business Tax for companies involved in advanced technologies such as: computing, biotechnology, lab testing for product development, engineering, electronic devices, etc.

High-Wage MEGA Tax Credit — Negotiated credit against the Single Business Tax for companies conducting manufacturing, R&D, wholesale trade and paying 150 percent of the federal minimum wage.

Obsolete Property Rehab. Act PA 146 Tax Abatement — Freezes the existing taxable value on a designated obsolete facility for up to 12 years to encourage building improvements

PA 198 Tax Abatement — One to twelve-year abatement which reduces real and personal property taxes by 50 percent

PA 328 Tax Abatement — Abatement includes all millage, state, and local taxes

Photovoltaic Demonstration Project Grants — Michigan Energy Office of the Department of Labor and Economic Growth grants public agencies and nonprofits up to $50,000 for a limited number of photovoltaic projects each year. The grant pays up to 90 percent of PV equipment costs.

Renaissance Zone — Waiver of local and state taxes; eligible sites.

Rural MEGA — Negotiated tax credit

Youth Apprentice Tax Credit — $2,000 tax credit per apprentice to registered employers who train young people.
