Great Lakes Bay EDP Recognized for Economic Development Marketing - Two Michigan Economic Developers Association Marketing Material Awards (2009)

International Economic Development Council (2008) — Saginaw Future Inc. and Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) were honored with the CoreNet Global Economic Development Leadership Award for Major Projects and Deals for successfully landing the $1 billion expansion of Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation (HSC). HSC is the world’s leading producer of polycrystalline silicon. A successful collaboration of Saginaw Future, MEDC, Public Service Commission, Department of Transportation, City of Saginaw, and Thomas Township.
